Nowadays the method of aerodynamic division of friable materials on specific gravity is one of the most effective technological processes at processing of agricultural production. In many cases this process is preferable including the preparation of sowing material and in grain-processing industry.

The functioning of sieveless aerodynamic separating machines "Almaz" which produces Private Enterprise Industrial Company "Agrotech", is also based on this method.

The acting principle, the useful model, an industrial machine sample of the high-frequency air-blast generator are protected by patents of Ukraine and Russia and are also getting ready to get a patent in Euro-Asian area.

We have sent an International application PCT #PCT/RU2007/000299 from 05.06.2007 and it has fixed a priority of the invention in countries - participants of the convention.

This universal machine was created in 2001 as alternative to the classic cleansing grain systems. In November 2001, the machine was tested in the complex of grain storage and processing"Agrounion"; the activity of this enterprise is directed on permanent development and inculcation of innovations.

Since 2001 the machine was changed a lot to improve both internal and external exterior of the machine. All changes were directed on the increase of consumers' properties and quality of work, and also on the expansion of productivity range.

The machines of 6 modifications are presently produced: by productivity of 4 tons/hour, 10 tons/hour, 20 tons/hour, 40 tons/hour, 50 tons/hour, 100 tons/hour.

While testing it was discovered that separating machine "Almaz" is the unique elaboration in our country which has the significant advantages comparing with the existing machines not only of Ukrainian but also of foreign producing.

The main advantages are:

  1. Universality and multifunctionness

    Due to the high resolving ability the machine can make precleaning, primary and second cleaning and simultaneous separating of grain by specific gravity for one-passage way, selecting valuable, homogeneous grain of ears, cops, heads, wich has maximal energy of germination and sprouting.

    This gives an opportunity to use less of high-quality sowing material (without side grain and weed impurities) to make sowing, and the simultaneous ripening will allow to gather harvesting waste and to get it's increase up to 20-25%.

    It can be seen that the machine is capable to replace 2-3 kinds of machines which are connected at a technological line. It can perfectly work in a structure of the technological lines, and also it can work individually.

  2. The absence traumatizing of the grain (crushing and microcracks)

    Cleaning and grading process occurs in the air stream without using screens. Besides, the height and speed of falling grains satisfy the scientifically-grounded recommendations.

  3. Low level of energy consumption

    Separating machines "Almaz" take from 1,2 kw (by capasity 3 tons per hour) to 37,2 kw (by capasity 100 tons per hour).

  4. Reliability and longevity

    The design simplicity, an absence of complex kinematical circuits and greasing points provide the high reliability and durability of "Almaz" machines.

  5. High operation profitability

    The machines don't need expensive qaulificative periodical service, expluation materials, it is not needed to chose and screen changing for every grain, or careful and long-term cleaning of the machine after each type of grain.

  6. High technological opportunities

    Separated machines "Almaz" have such abilities:

    • to select the grains damaged by a bedbug-tortoise (Scutelleridae) and a weevil;
    • to clear a wheat grain from the wild oats, oat and others weed hard-separable impurity;
    • to select the peas damaged by Bruchus pisorum L;
    • to separate the rotten corn from healthy one (for a dry kind);
    • to allocate from the raw crop material the most viable, productive grains;
    • to allocate grains of wheat, which are possessing with the raised gluten contents;
    • to work as the dressing machine for groats mills, dividing the groats at the sizes to 7 fractions, thus it is beating the husking bran (meal) off and it is giving for groats a high packaging;
    • to process raceme of herbs, to separate a kapron cord from granulated autotrunks, to calibrate the sand for the brick manufacture and calibrate an abrasive for manufacture of the abrasive tool.

According to everything that was written below, it is clear that spheres of using separating machines "Almaz" are very wide. In general they are used for:

  • an apportionment from grain hard and easy admixtures, which are different from main;
  • to separate grain on specific gravity, apportionment of biologically valuable grain, which has maximum energy of sprouting and germination;
  • division of grain mixtures;
  • separation of all kinds of grain, giving them high trade quality.

Using the separating machine "Almaz" is possible in different areas of agricultural industry and processing: selection stations, seed factories, big producers of agricultural equipment, elevators,farming economy for preparing without any help cheap but at the same time their own sowing material of the highest quality, and also food greed.

Of course this doesn't mean that separating machine "Almaz" solves all the problems connected with grain processing, but in many cases it will place many expensive technological lines in preparation and processing of grain, and discovers new possibilities for agricultural producers and their co-operating plants.

At first this is necessary sertification of the ready products in accordance with state standards, first of all in Russia and Ukraine.

The machines "Almaz" went through state receiving tests in "Ukrainian SSU of prediction of technics and technologies for agricultural production to the name of L. Pogorelov" and were certificated in the system UkrSEPRO. Also we were given a certificate of compatibility in the system GOST of Russian Federation.
